On the base of the sociological survey data the authors analyze family values and family practices of the Russian students. The authors compare an ideal family image and real family experience; characterized are main problems of the students’ families. In conclusion the authors emphasize the need of revitalizing the state support of students’ families in order to improve their well-being.
