The article focuses on the description of the results of a comprehensive study to identify and characterize the specifics of the life of young women who arrived from Kyrgyzstan to the Moscow metroplex. The aims of the conducted research were numerous. Firstly, the authors wanted to systematize the types of Kyrgyz women according to the degree of social adaptation in Russian society; secondly, to identify the reasons and strategic intentions of the arrival of young women from Kyrgyzstan to Moscow; thirdly, to discover and describe the main life strategies formed by young women who came from Kyrgyzstan to Moscow. The empirical basis of the article was a sociological study implemented with the help of a structured interview of migrants from Kyrgyzstan living in Moscow. The results of the study: firstly, identification and grouping of the types of Kyrgyz women according to the level of adaptation in Russian society (socially adapted individuals — stable/unstable, socially disadapted individuals — stable/unstable); secondly, the classification of the causes and strategic inten-tions of young Kyrgyz women in Moscow; thirdly, discovery and description of the main life strategies formed by young women who came from Kyrgyzstan to Moscow metroplex. This was based on the analysis of the following features of their life: socio-economic, professional status, household, marital and family, educational, motivational, emotional and psychological adaptability. Finally, recommendations are proposed to improve the work aimed at the comprehensive adaptation of young Kyrgyz women planning to stay in Russia and connect their future with the country.
