The relevance of the topic is due to the multifaceted character of the most important tasks of the state migration policy and the Strategy of the state national policy of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2025. Among them are the formation of institutions and mechanisms for the sociocultural adaptation of foreign citizens, taking into account age, professional, national, cultural and other characteristics of various categories of foreign citizens, regional and ethno-cultural ways of life population in Russia; development of measures to prevent spatial segregation and the formation of ethnic enclaves among migrants. The effectiveness of measures to adapt migrants directly depends on their consistency with the policies of the EAEU member states in the field of social and cultural development, healthcare, education, science and youth policy. The unregulated influx of migrants can lead to sociopolitical destabilization of the host society and a mismatch of interests.
