About the journal

Journal "Woman in Russian society" is published on the basis of Ivanovo state University since 1996.
For more than fifteen years since the release of the first issue, the journal has established itself as a serious scientific publication on the development of the methodology of gender studies, scientific understanding of the evolution of the social status of women and men, their role in social development of Russia, methodical provision of training in gender issues. The geography of the authors represents all major regions of Russia from Moscow to the Far East.
